Wow. Jalen Hurts to the Eagles! @CircaSports, where the prop came off the board Wednesday night, needed at least Over 58.5, after opening 78.5 in late March. Hurts goes at No. 53. "We need the Over, and it's a decent-sized position," @JeffreyBenson12 said. @Covers

He won’t make it to the food bank bc I’ll take him out in his sleep if at least 6 OL don’t go and he’ll be buried in that @CircaSports t shirt he wears 5 days a week. https://t.co/5RmbLYFU9Q

Different takes on Gronk's value from @WilliamHillUS director Nick Bogdanovich and @CircaSports manager Chris Bennett.
Bogdanovich: "Well past his prime."
Bennett: "Combination of public perception and me thinking there is a decent chance he can still be really good." #RJnow— Todd Dewey (@tdewey33) April 21, 2020

“‘You can tell that people are looking for something to wager on, and are betting something they normally wouldn’t,’ said Matthew Metcalf, sportsbook director for Circa Sports which currently operates in two Las Vegas casinos. ‘It’s been a good exercise in oddsmaking, anytime you get to make odds on something like this that no one really follows.’ Las Vegas casinos have been closed for more than a month, but Metcalf still has bets rolling in through Circa’s mobile app.“
“Circa Sports moved the Bucs’ Super Bowl odds from 15/1 to 11/1 and their win total from 9.5 (Under -130) to 10 (Under -120). Tampa Bay’s odds to make the playoffs moved from -160 to -210. ‘It’s a combination of public perception and me thinking there is a decent chance [Gronkowski] can still be really good,’ Circa sportsbook manager Chris Bennett told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.“
“‘It seems like the sharps are not impressed with the Raiders’ first two picks,’ Circa Sports sportsbook manager Chris Bennett said. ‘If you respect the betting market and think players ought to go somewhere in the range of where the line closed on their draft position, it doesn’t look like very good picks by the Raiders.’ Circa reported a small win on the first round despite losing a big decision on Ruggs, who was a 6-1 long shot to be the Raiders’ first pick and +375 to be the first receiver drafted.“
“Launched in June 2019, Circa Sports is a newcomer to the betting scene with a stronghold in its hometown Las Vegas, where it operates two retail locations. Colorado marks the company’s first expansion market.“
“Digital provider Circa Sports was also enticed by the favorable business laws, such as remote signup. In its home state of Nevada, fans are required to visit a casino in-person to open a mobile betting account. That’s not so in the Centennial State, the company’s first expansion market since coming online in June 2019. ‘In Colorado, you can sit on your couch, you can register for an account and fund your account all within 10 minutes and then start betting,’ said Mike Van Ermen, strategic operations manager.“
“Circa Sports sportsbook manager Chris Bennett said the handle was ‘similar to a popular regular-season NFL game.’ The handle was certainly bolstered by the fact that the rest of the sports world essentially has been shut down for the past six weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic and the draft was the only game in town. ‘It’s a unique event that overlapped with a unique situation,’ Bennett said.“
“Circa Las Vegas will open the largest sportsbook in the world later this year in downtown Las Vegas. Circa Sportsbook Manager Chris Bennett told me in an email that “The Raiders drafting Henry Riggs hurt us. We would have done much better if they picked Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb.” But Bennett said Circa still “ended up a small winner,” as the late “Hail Mary” by the Chiefs when they made LSU’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire the first running back drafted was a winning prop for Circa and other sportsbooks. The over/under on number of running backs drafted in the first round was 0.5.“
“Elsewhere, Nevada newcomer Circa Sports rolled out digital payment solutions technology that enables customers to load and withdraw funds into their account in a matter of minutes. Through Circa’s mobile app, customers can sign up for the Play+ functionality. From there, customers are able to link their bank account to the Circa app through Sightline Payments, a third-party digital commerce platform.
‘It really was the ideal balance between getting customers to access their funds as quickly as possible and providing that service for someone who wants to bet with us right now,’ Circa Sports Strategic Operations Manager Mike Van Ermen told Sports Handle.“
“In this hour of Follow The Money, Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard break down the Circa Sports odds for the NFL teams with the most regular season wins and the teams with the most regular season losses. The guys discuss the ‘Last Dance’ docuseries and the ‘Bad Boys’ Pistons. Also, a break down of the recently posted UFC 249 odds.“
“Digital provider Circa Sports has seen the attractive business laws such as remote registration on offer in Colorado and decided to expand. They are based in Nevada, where fans must visit a casino in person to open a mobile betting account. However, that is not the case in the Centennial State. Mike Van Ermen, manager of strategic operations at Circa, said, ‘In Colorado, you can sit on your couch, you can sign up for an account and fund your account in 10 minutes and then start gambling’.“
Unless WWE is planning on rehiring Drake Maverick at the end of this tournament, airing all of this stuff about him being released is odd.
I don’t like them making an an angle out of their real layoff announcements.
Also puts future WWE release announcements into question.
