While we may be known for our casinos and shows, Las Vegas is also a culinary hub with many well-respected chefs setting up kitchen in the city. If you’re a foodie traveling to Vegas, plan your trip around these amazing new restaurants and bars opening in early 2020 for the full culinary experience.
Calling all Las Vegas foodies! With the likes of Emeril Lagasse and Wolfgang Puck, new restaurants in Las Vegas coming in 2020 are not to be taken lightly. Check out these unique additions to the ever-shifting Las Vegas food scene.
Projected to open within Encore Las Vegas in early 2020, Elio is a restaurant that will embrace the showmanship of the city of Las Vegas through celebratory food, design, and ambiance. Chefs Daniela Soto-Innes and Enrique Olvera are promising Elio’s dishes to be rooted in Mexican ingredients and flavors delivering a high-end cuisine.
David Chang, American restaurateur, brings two new restaurants to the Las Vegas area: Moon Palace and Majordomo Meat & Fish. Majordomo Meat & Fish has been gearing up to share various Korean barbecue dishes with you, presented on rolling carts! Majordomo Meat & Fish opened at the end of December at the Palazzo.
Chang’s second project, Moon Palace, an ode to the slider, is scheduled to open across from Majordomo Meat & Fish in the Palazzo in January 2020. Other anticipated dishes include fried potato chips and two pillowy pancakes with marshmallow fluff filling!

Another unique addition to Las Vegas comes to the Grand Canal Shoppes in January 2020. X Pot brings to the table robot servers, 360-degree high-def projections, interactive light shows, and themed sounds to accompany the tradition of Sichuan hot pots. X-Pot’s robot technology speaks to customers in Chinese, English, and Spanish, catering to all your needs.
Enter through the “bakery” facade, pass the dry aged meat cooler, and be transported into the steakhouse. This steakhouse isn’t scheduled to open until Spring 2020, but is expected to be a one-of-a-kind destination. The entire restaurant boasts a variety of atmospheres, including the main bar, patio dining, the main room, three private dining rooms, and a raw bar.
Fancy a drink? As much as we love the free drinks in the casino and walking around with our yard drinks, Las Vegas is home to a number of unique bars ranging from classy to fun. Be prepared to either start or end your night in one of these three upcoming bars coming to Las Vegas in early 2020, and be ready to be impressed.
Located in Downtown Summerlin, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill will become Wolfgang Puck Players Locker in early 2020. The renovation will consist of a floor-to-ceiling display of 100+ custom glass lockers, an expansive bar area, a private dining room, and two outdoor patios. Vegas Golden Knights players Alex Tuch, William Karlsson, and Deryk Engelland, Reilly Smith, and Shea Theordore teamed up with Puck on this restaurant to continue to serve the family-friendly community.

Kamu Ultra Karaoke will finally open at the Grand Canal Shoppes in February 2020. As guests wander into Kamu, they are greeted by a digital water curtain with thousands of water droplets released in patterns using recyclable falling water.
The first high-end karaoke club on the Las Vegas Strip features 40 private singing suits with options that allow you to pick a song from the catalog, or from your own personal music collection via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. There will also be a few rooms available to convert to private gaming suits!
Former Escala chef Chris Oh is in charge of curating both dining and bottle service menus. Kamu is open to all age groups from 12pm to 8pm daily and turns into an exclusive adults-only space from 8pm – 8am.
Lying in the center of Area 15, a 200-000 square-foot retail and entertainment center, is Oddwood. It will be anchored by a large 23-foot Japanese maple tree and off-set by a 28-feet long by 17 feet wide canopy. AREA15 describes this space as a “lost forest where only odd, digital seeds remain.” Serving both cocktails and coffee courtesy of Vesta Coffee Roasters, you can enjoy your beverage at a community table located in the center of the installation. Oddwood, along with the rest of the center, plans to open in early 2020.
