How to make a request

  1. First make sure you clicked the correct edit-link and you are actually requesting the right you want.
  2. Copy the following and append it to the text-area: 
    {{subst:rfr|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}|2=reason}} Thank you. ~~~~
  3. Replace reason with a rationale based on the rollback guideline, renaming guideline or the patroller guideline.
  4. Press Publish changes.

Note

  • Please check back periodically so you can respond to any queries.
  • If your request has remained unanswered for several days, consider personally asking an administrator.
  • Administrators, please welcome users granted a new right with an appropriate message.
  • When requesting rights that need support by the community (e.g. administrator) please go to Commons:Requests and votes!

If you request the rollback-right, please read the how-to first.

Admins and anyone with global rollback don't need to request rollback. License reviewers don't have to request the patrol flag.

@Mdaniels5757 A year ago I did use this account to edit Vietnamese Wikipedia but somehow it got hijacked, so that I only use my main account to edit.     In Category:Files with bad file names there is a subcategory called Category:Files with all upper case file names. I recommended the change based on the fact that it was in that category. If files with all caps are not considered bad file names, that subcategory should be removed from the bad files names category.
    As for choosing criterion 6, it was a non-controversial change involving character handling problems (all caps instead of sentence or title case.) Is there a better criterion I could chose or is all uppercase acceptable in file names? (In which case, see above about the bad file names category.)
