On June 28th I did revert a lot of disruptive edits and wanted to grant this rollback permission to revert vandalism faster. DefenderTienMinh07 (talk) 15:18, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- @DefenderTienMinh07 Have you ever used any other accounts to edit Wikimedia projects (including Wikimedia Commons)? —Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 01:35, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Mdaniels5757 A year ago I did use this account to edit Vietnamese Wikipedia but somehow it got hijacked, so that I only use my main account to edit. But apart from the old one as I've said above and this main one I used to edit I swear that I didn't use any other accounts. DefenderTienMinh07 (talk) 06:06, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

FilemoverEdit
See also: Renaming guideline.
As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made at least 1,000 useful, non-botlike edits or a large amount of justified renaming requests at Commons before they will consider granting the filemover right. |

- There is a large backlog of Category:Files with bad file names that I would like to assist with correcting. Thank you. Epolk (talk) 07:10, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Comment You have made 0 requests in your last 1000 edits (since July 30) – could you perhaps request a few renames (which will be handled by us)? If those renames are good, we'll go from there (and you'll receive my support !vote). --SHB2000 (talk) 10:03, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Will do! Thanks! Epolk (talk) 15:13, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Great start; one thing, though: what made you think this (declined by LR0725) falls within criterion 6? --SHB2000 (talk) 09:06, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
- In Category:Files with bad file names there is a subcategory called Category:Files with all upper case file names. I recommended the change based on the fact that it was in that category. If files with all caps are not considered bad file names, that subcategory should be removed from the bad files names category.
- As for choosing criterion 6, it was a non-controversial change involving character handling problems (all caps instead of sentence or title case.) Is there a better criterion I could chose or is all uppercase acceptable in file names? (In which case, see above about the bad file names category.) Epolk (talk) 14:13, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
